Comments From ManPans Customers
Email from R. Bush – June 27, 2011 – When I received my 12″ fry pan, at first glance I was drawn to the unique color of the metal and handle design. As an avid home chef, I am always anxious to try new equipment, but honestly very seldom do I immediately write the manufacturer. I have used very high-end equipment in the past, and hold a high standard of all of my kitchen tools – and your pan exceeded my expectations and stands above the rest. The quickness of pre-heating, the consistency of cooking heat, and the ease of cleaning make this a superior fry pan. As an immediate fan, I would like to thank you for sharing your product and allowing us into your kitchen. I look forward to adding to my set, and to your future products. Cheers and chef on!

Carol Clark – May 15, 2011 comment on Facebook – I am lovin’ my ManPans wok! I’ve used it twice now and am stunned by how well it cooks AND how well it cleans up. Thank you for creating such a wonderful tool!!!

Used It (4 Quart Sauce Pan) For The First Time Tonight. Made a pot of dry mix soup tonight with my new ManPan sauce pan. The water came to a boil quicker in this pan than in any other pan I own and I could use a much lower heat setting to keep it up to temp. It helped make short work fixing the soup and clean up was quick and easy with the super slick finish. I love this pan and will use it every time.
I received my ManPans (10″ Saute Pan) less than a week ago and have used this Saute pan three times. The very first time I used it I was pleased to find out that the non stick finish was better than any I had used before. I have owned some very expensive pans. Absolutely solid construction, completely even heat and the lid vent metered the water vapor perfectly. Only stuff inside the pan was my chicken and a tiny bit of oil, no water build up. Clean up was a breeze. I was surprised at the low burner temp it took to get the job done each time I used it. A real energy saver. Out go the fancy stainless steel and big name pans from my past. Best pan ever.

Patti Mays with GreatCookingIdeas.Com – March 6, 2011 comment on Facebook – “I like ManPans a LOT! Light and easy to use – handles NEVER get hot. They look great, too, and cook better than pans that cost 3 times this much.”

Jennifer Adams – Breadandputter on Twitter – From January 17 post on her ‘Bread and Putter’ food blog where she talks about the Manpans saute pan she received in December, “… When I got it out of the box, I noticed right away how lightweight it was… even before I cooked anything I could tell there was something different about this pan… it was a great way to test that metal utensil thing out and I can report that the whisk didn’t leave a mark. Fabulous. Another thing I loved about this pan was that it was super easy to clean – easier than any other so-called non-stick pan I own. I have been using the pan constantly since then, including for a beef stew during the blizzard last week. Sorry for the steam in this picture, but I wanted to show you the great sear I got on that beef – who said you can’t get a good sear on a non-stick pan? I’m sold!! So, I think I am going to need more of these pans. And just so you know, Man Pans didn’t ask me to write this. I just wanted to properly thank them and Barbara (You should totally be following Barbara on Twitter, and for your web design needs, check out her Kinetic Webs services!) and tell you about this great product. Thanks, Man Pans!” “This woman sure does love these pans!”

From Barbara S. – “I just purchased a 12 inch frypan and so far, am very, very pleased with the performance. I like the fact that the pan is light. I can lift the pan with one hand and slide food out with the other, unlike my other heavy nonstick pan that requires both hands to lift. That’s important when you are cooking and the timing is critical. I also like the fact that the pan is slightly deeper than my other frypans, that the bottom is perfectly flat so it sits on my ceramic cooktop and doesn’t rock, and that I can use it in the oven. The New York Times just had an article on non-stick pans (care and use) and I sent them a link to your website. Hopefully a product review or mention of some type in the future? Great product!”

VinoLuci - Barbara Kiebel (Vino Luci Style)
From Dec 14 posting about the Manpans 4 qt Sauce Pan & Steamer Set – “I have a large collection of stainless pots and pans; they’re beautiful and I love working with them but I have never had a great experience with something that is supposed to be non stick. I recently bought a two piece set of Calphalon non-stick skillets as the ones I had been using had seen better days. A couple of months later and they are filled with scratches despite limited use so I was very intrigued by ManPans promises which included a surface that would not scratch (yeah, sure right…huh?).
During the course of preparing the mushroom and onions for the beef dish, I didn’t gently move my wooden spoon across the surface like I normally do with non stick pans…nope, I used a large metal spoon to make sure they could live up to the claims that the surface would not scratch. Made in the US, eco-friendly, no change in the taste of food? Sounds too good to be true and I’m as skeptical as anyone out there but bottom line everything they promised was true. Heat was distributed evenly, the handle stays cool, and what really made my day? After preparing both the mushrooms and the onions for the beef, I simply wiped out the pan, boiled potatoes in the bottom section of the pan and added the asparagus in the steamer insert a couple of minutes before the potatoes were finished. TWO dishes, ONE pan? Perfect for my four burner cooktop.
No kidding, I love this pan…I not only loved the quality but this steamer pan was exactly what I had hoped for…a pan that made my job easier. What’s not to love?”

Mark “Caveman” Avery (Caution: Caveman Cooking)
From Dec 2 review of the Manpans 12″ Stir Fry Wok & Steamer Set” - “For years, I have been a Calphalon devotee. But, using the Man Pans Wok side by side with my old faithful has truly opened my eyes. Using a lighter pan certainly made things much easier in the handling department. Using less energy while cooking and achieving the same results is definitely an attractive quality. And, being made here in the USA using very environmentally friendly processes makes the Man Pans an exciting prospect. But, the bottom line is how they cook the food you are preparing … and on this level the Man Pans ran at least on par, if not better, than my trusty old Calphalon. My only complaint is with the depth of the steamer insert. Though, when you combine all of the pluses apparent in the Man Pans product, I feel as though I have found a new standard by which I will be judging cookware from here on out. The only other downside I see is that I now want to try out all of their other offerings!

Dec 7, 2010 – http://www.bellalimento.com/2010/12/07/2010-holiday-gift-guide/ – “If you follow me on Twitter {and you should I’m a hoot LOL} you have probably heard me RAVING about these pans. I REALLY can’t say enough about them. Since my 6 quart ManPan arrived on my door my other pans have become dusty and jealous. These pans are light weight, heat up in a instant and cook like a dream! I can’t wait to add to my collection! Man Pans ROCK!”

December 3, 2010 – “I just received my prize from the Food Ninja contest (“It’s a Major Award!”) and I am thrilled with it. It’s a ManPans frying pan with a lid. This puppy is really well made and heats up super fast… and kept the heat well. Normally my burners have cool spots in the middle, but this pan heated up evenly across the surface.”

I bought the 10″ wok about six mouths ago and shortly after a set of leading other non-stick pots and pans and find myself using the wok more often then my ‘big name pans’. This is a excellent built wok and does all it says can do, not to be fooled by its weight! I don’t treat it with any special treatment other than directed and has performed very well. I would highly recommend your pans and may consider others as the need arises…. Sincerely, Augustine

“These are the best pans ever!!
I did so much research for a pan-I made myself crazy. I wanted something safe for me and my kids. But also easy to store and clean, since sometimes I am distracted and dinner is on the stove too long!
I have tried cooking everything in this pan and can not find anything that sticks! I even did the egg challenge and — it came clean. I will tell everyone to buy and use these pans! Also, when I emailed a question to this company, I actually got a personal reply! Hooray for customer service!!”
